Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mop are getting more efficient. They pass our cleaning tests, and can take care of various floors. Select models that allow you to select between a variety of modes, self-empty and clean stairs.
Many of the best models work with your smartphone. Look for an app that allows you to save maps, schedules and choose cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The gloss black and gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive mop and robot vacuum combos available. It uses lidar for navigation making maps of floors and rooms.
The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which has linoleum in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms and also a carpet in the middle and a large area. It was capable of driving up to walls and even cross raised thresholds without any problems. However it had some issues traversing the stairs in one go. The S1 performed well in cleaning hard floors. Its mop moved smoothly on its flat side and raised itself when it was near carpets or carpets.
After every mopping session, the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and refills its water tank onboard with clean filtered ozonated water. The dock provides an extra-deep cleaning solution to the water. The S1's water tank holds enough water for about twelve cleaning sessions before needing to be emptied, though this can vary based the amount you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires periodic maintenance to ensure that it's operating well. You'll need to wash out the tank that has been contaminated to avoid it becoming clogged. You will also need to clean your swivel wheel and sensors regularly to prevent them from getting blocked by dirt or dust. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-1 robot mop and vacuum combo from Ecovacs is a powerful option for your cleaning needs. The robot vacuum is rated at 8,700Pa of suction, and comes with a number of innovative features, including full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning that avoids obstacles and cleans around furniture. The mopping feature is impressive, with mops that rotate that actually lift and scrub the floor, rather than simply dragging the pad across it. The mops can also be dried and cleaned at the base station if needed.
The robot is simple to set up and use, with a clear interface that walks you through the procedure. It also includes a hand vacuum that can be used to clean hard-to reach areas that the robot cannot reach. There are also automated vacuum cleaner that are automatically filled or empty. It also has a number of settings that can be used to fine tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does a good job at vacuuming, and has a powerful suction that effortlessly picks up most debris and even the smaller pieces of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty good, too, even though it can sometimes get caught up on the small rug or area mats I have in my home (which is something you can control by creating a virtual border in the app). Mopping capabilities are quite good and include a pair of mops which can lift and scrub the floor, rather than just dragging the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned with heated water and dried in the base station when needed. Mops are also refilled from the top of the base station as needed.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame released the luxe X30 Ultra earlier this year and their new flagship robot mop and vacuum comes with more impressive features. It has fantastic cleaning results and is simple to maintain. This makes it a worthy contender for our list of the best robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and an extended side brush ensure that a thorough, customized clean is achieved.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, it can remove both large and fine debris. It is a great choice on carpets and hard floors. It cleaned the dirtiest places of our tests well, avoiding pet hairs and other dirt. The sweeping power is enhanced by a side brush that automatically extends to reach hard-to-reach corners, as well as an extended mop pad that deploys alongside baseboards.
Its navigation system is intelligent it can navigate tight spaces and negotiating stairs without missing a beat. It can move from one room to another without reversing direction, which is a handy feature for homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than some competitors, and leaves a huge margin around obstacles. This can result in miss-hit spots.
The interface of the app is easy to use and well-organized. It should be easy to use for both novices and experienced users. The app allows you to plan and manage cleanings, adjust suction power and mopping settings, view 2D and 3D maps, and much more. It is accessible via the app, Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri, allowing you to monitor its progress from any location. You can even tap into the X40 Ultra's camera remotely for live video surveillance. However, you will require a stable internet connection to use it via the app as well as external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 Pro
Robot vacuums are great in removing dirt and debris, but they can't reach every bit of dust. That's why it's important to use your regular vacuum once every week, and especially to remove dust from corners, on shelves, and in the corners of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot that was designed to accomplish exactly that. It's easy to connect it to your home Wi-Fi network and also works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is an unadorned version of the company's more pricier S-series models, including the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but saves on cost by removing mopping functions and using a less expensive plastic body.
The Q5 is still one of the most powerful mopping and vacuums we've ever seen at this price, even though it's not equipped to clean your floors. It features a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an automatic emptying system, which means you don't need to manually empty the bin every time. It also comes with a smart app that lets you select your floor's type and schedule cleanings, as well as an automatic refill of the water tank and wash system for hands-free operation.
The mops are also quite impressive with 2700Pa of power to tackle dirt, dust and pet hair on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 is among the few robots we test that didn't have trouble with high-pile carpets and area rug, but it was unable to pick up kitty litter or cable tangles, which is no surprise given that it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the most quiet robovacs that we have tested. It also uses a unique system to map your home. This will allow it to enter places that other vacuums can't reach. This device also collects more dust in the larger bin, meaning that you don't need to empty it as frequently. Furthermore, it comes with washable filters that further lower the costs associated with using the device. This robot can detect carpets and increase suction when needed. You can also mark areas you want the robot to avoid using the app.
